The Chicago Bulls have won the first two games of the series but have hardly been dominant – with the exception of Derrick Rose. In fact they were sloppy in Game 2, getting outshot from the field while turning the ball over 21 times. Still they are up 2-0 so there is a lot of pressure on Indiana tonight to get back into the series. The Bulls split their games at Conseco Fieldhouse this season forcing overtime in a loss there in March. They were 3-1 ATS against Indiana in the regular season but are 0-2 ATS in the playoffs. The Bulls have been a very good road bet this season going 25-16 ATS away from the United Center. Their plan will once again to keep it close and look for Derrick Rose to win it for them late.
When you squeak into the playoffs like the Pacers did often not much is expected. But then Indiana looked so sharp for 95% of game 1 only to come up empty. They competed hard in game 2 as well, but came up empty again. Those are some hard results to rebound from, and with no real dominant player to turn to, Will they be able to get to the level they need to win as the series shifts to their home court? If so here is what’s going to have to happen. 1) Danny Granger will out score Luol Deng. 2) Roy Hibbert will net a double-double…and 3) Brandon Rush will score more than 15 points. I feel good about the first two but not so much about Rush. If you think all three can come to fruition than back Indiana
The current line on this one is Bulls -4. Odds are if they win outright they will cover so if you like Chicago there is some value there.
