Cleveland vs Boston | Betting Preview, Odds, Pick

With the conference semifinals underway there are four teams left vying for the right to represent the East in the NBA Finals with the hopes of bringing home a World Championship. Here is a look at each series along with each team’s updated odds to win the East.

#1 Cleveland Cavaliers (10-11) vs. #4 Boston Celtics (6-1)

After Cleveland disposed of Chicago in five games in their opening round series they set their sights on taking out the Boston Celtics as quickly as possible to return to once again return to the conference finals.

In game one in Cleveland, the Cavaliers fell behind early trailing by 11 at the half, but behind LeBron James’ game high 35 points took control in the second half to win 101-93. In game two James ended with 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists but it was not enough as the Cavs dropped game two 86-104.

Boston took control of their opening round series against Miami right from the start by winning the first three games on their way to a 4-1 series win. They were able to bring that momentum into the first half of game one in this series but wilted down the stretch to let it slip away.

Determined to capture home court advantage, in game two they put together a complete four quarter effort to stun the Cavs in their own building to even things up at one game apiece. Six Celtics scored in double figures led by Ray Allen’s 22 points.

As the series shifts to Boston for the next two, game three is scheduled for Friday night at 7:00 P.M. and game four for 3:00 P.M. on Sunday.
