Miami came into the playoffs as a heavy favorite in its opening round series against Philadelphia and with the exception of a setback in Game 4, easily advanced in five games. Its second round matchup with Boston brought out the best of the ‘Big Three’ as Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh played some of their best ball of the year to oust the Celtics in a surprisingly easy five games.

James and Wade are each averaging over 26 points a game and Bosh is adding 16.3 points and a team-high 9.6 rebounds a game. The Heat are averaging 94.7 points a game and have a 44-38 edge in rebounds. They are 6-4 against the spread in the postseason with the total going ‘over’ in six of the 10 games.

Chicago found itself in an early fight in these playoffs against Indiana with three of its four wins over the Pacers coming by six points or less in the five-game series win. The Bulls opened the semifinals with a loss at home against Atlanta, but were able to elevate their game with four double-digit victories in the next five games.

League MVP Derrick Rose continues to dominate in the playoffs with an average of 28.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 8.2 assists a game. Luol Deng is the team’s second leading scorer with 16.7 points and Joakim Noah leads in rebounds with 10.4. The key to beating Miami could actually rest on the shoulders of Carlos Boozer, who averaged 17.3 points in his last three games against the Hawks after spending most of the postseason in relative obscurity. Chicago is 6-5 ATS and the total has stayed ‘under’ in six of its 11 postseason games.

Head-to-head, the Bulls won all three games in the regular season straight-up and were 2-0-1 ATS. The total stayed ‘under’ in the last two games.

Miami ‘s advantage in overall talent makes it the obvious favorite, but the Bulls’ home court advantage proves to be the difference as they close- out a thrilling series with a Game 7 win at home.
