2010-2011 Cal State Fullerton Season Preview
Preseason optimism was dented twice when honorable mention all-conference point guard Jacques Streeter quit in the spring (he was expected to land at UTEP) and Bryce Webster the former Minnesota Gopher who started all but one game at center last season – quit the program during the summer school session he needed in order to stay eligible. The one starter from last season who is still around, Jer’Vaughn Johnson, is one of the better post players in’ the conference. The top subs from last season (Devon Peltier and Orane Chin) were projected as starters even before the aforementioned departures. Isiah Umipig, by way of suburban Seattle, is the most gifted freshman guard in the Big West.
