2010-2011 Cal State Northridge Season Preview

Despite returning three starters and several key subs from a team that played in the NCAA Tourney the previous March, the Matadors struggled to play consistently well throughout last season. If the opposite is going to be the case in 2010-11, the program’s best player – forward Lenny Daniel must have an exceptional senior season. He’s also going to need plenty of support from Raymond Cody and Vinnie McGhee, who could evolve into consistent double-figure scorers. Bobby Braswell signed four freshmen, one of which – guard Aqeel Quinn – came from’the same Southern California high school (Leuzinger, in Lawndale) that produced the NBA’s Russell Westbrook and Dorell Wright.
