From season to season, the Golden Griffins have become more competitive under Tom Parrotta, but the fact remains that the team won just 11 games in 2008-09. The Griffs also lost 20 games for the sixth time in the past 10 years. Inexperience won’t be an excuse this year, because Canisius returns all five starters, and all are upperclassmen. The pieces appear to be in place with.an all-league guard in Frank Turner and a solid group of forwards. If this program is going to make a move, this had better be the year.
