2009-2010 Cornell Season Preview
All that is missing for the senior-led two-time defending Ivy champs is an NCAA Tournament win. Abrutally tough non-conference schedule should set up the Big Red for an Ivy three-peat and, perhaps, the elusive NCAA win. Sharpshooter Ryan Wittman is the league’s top returning scorer and always gets the ball from guards Louis Dale, the 2007-08 Ivy Player of the Year, and Chris Wroblewski, the reigning league Rookie of the Year. Seven-footer Jeff Foote rebounds, blocks shots and changes games with defense, and coach Steve Donahue’s squad also adds Division I transfers Mark Coury and Max Groebe.
