Delaware Coach: Monte Ross – At Delaware and overall: 39-86, 4 years

Delaware Players to Watch: This is Ross’ fifth season at UD and he hasn’t garnered a winning season or a top-echelon CAA finish. If marked improvement isn’t seen, he could be in the pressure cooker.

2010-2011 Delaware Season Preview

Coach Monte Ross may have his best chance to crack the upper echelon of the league as he returns his top nine players, including three senior starters who were major contributors last season. Point guard Jawan Carter may be the best in the league, as he was third in the CAA in scoring and second in assists. Alphonso Dawson is a trusted backcourt mate who was second on the club in scoring and the second leading rebounder. Delaware was an offensive enigma, as the Hens shot only 39.1 percent from the floor and were outscored by 9.2 points per game, last in the CAA.
