2010-2011 Denver Season Preview

Outside of losing first-team selection Nate Rohnert (the school’s all-time leader in games played), the Pioneers have to be sky high entering this season. Denver returns its other starters, along with three key reserves, off a team that advanced to the conference semifinals as a sixth seed. Look for sophomore Chase Hallam (49.5 percent from 3-point range) to provide the versatility Rohnert did for the conference leader in scoring defense, field-goal percentage and 3-point field-goal percentage. A 12-day, six-game stint in August in Italy should help Air Force transfer Trevor Noonan get adjusted so he can contribute immediately at center.
