Duke Blue Devils vs Arkansas-Pline Bluff Golden Lions Preview & Prediction
Regardless of who Duke plays, fans expect a deep run. Why not? With a tandem of Scheyer, Singler and Smith and excellent defense they are the team to beat. Scheyer does everything well. Smith and Dawkins hit the threes, and Singler can score from anywhere on the court. But there are some question marks. A weak bench and a collection of regulars who have barely had time to come up for air since the season started. Duke hopes that there is a little more steam in the boat.
Staying close would be a win for the Golden Lions, since they turnover too much, but do provide on defense. They play well on the road, but homesickness may be catching up to them. Calvin is the scorer and is great from the line but doesn’t shoot the three. Townsend is the guy for that.
The odds makers have the Blue Devils as -15-point favorites.
Duke will prove why they are the No. 3 seed overall with a dominating double digit performance over the Golden Lions.
