2009-2010 Furman Season Preview
The Paladins’ 24 losses were a single-season record, and they were 0-17 away from home last season. The pressure is on a junior-laden squad to show marked improvement from the experience. Eleven Paladins started games a year ago, so familiarity should help the team settle into roles quickly. Jordan Miller and Justin Dehm return to the backcourt as both will look for Bryson Barnes, Noah States and Brandon Sebirumbi to improve their production in points and rebounds. Furman averaged 61 points per game and shot only 40.4 percent from the floor. Efficiency on the offensive end will be a must if coach Jeff Jackson is to see improvement.
