2009-2010 Jacksonville State Season Preview
In his first season at Jacksonville State, coach James Green got the Gamecocks back on their feet with an 11-17 overall record, just one win shy of the 12 victories compiled over the previous two seasons. Green had coached at Mississippi Valley State and Southern Miss, so he had the resume for success. Akey to this season will be the inside game, as six post players return and will be joined by two junior college signees who also play in the lane. Missing will be water bug guard DeAndre Bray and his more than 500 career assists.
