2009-2010 Loyola Season Preview
With 10 underclassmen on the roster, the 2008-09 Greyhounds were a team in transition. Things only figure to get better for Loyola, which returns all five starters and the conference’s leading scorer, Jamal Barney. Shane Walker, a 6-10 forward who transferred from Maryland, also is eligible to play this season, which will give the Greyhounds an inside presence to complement an already strong backcourt. There’s a lot to like in the guard tandem of Brian Rudolph, a capable ball-handler, and Brett Harvey, who led the country in free-throw shooting (91 percent).
