Marist Players to Watch: Rusin, a 43 percent 3-point shooter, should benefit from a freshman year that afforded him plenty of playing time.

2010-2011 Marist Season Preview

The good news for Marist is that this season can’t possibly be any worse than last. The Red Foxes, young and short-handed after losing several pLayers to academic troubles, finished with the worst league and overall records in conference history. For Chuck Martin’s third season to be appreciably better, Marist will need to see major strides from sophomores like Candon Rusin and Devin Price – their likely backcourt of the future. Realistically, though, there’s far too much youth and not enough talent for the Red Foxes to be even near ready to start contending again.
