2009-2010 Pacific Season Preview

The Tigers lost the top four scorers from a club that won seven of its final nine games a year ago. But it’s dangerous to assume that those circumstances will automatically disqualify a Bob Thomason-coached dub from the ranks of conference contenders. Sam Willard closed his sophomore season in fine fashion and should team with Michael Nunnally, a 2007-08 starter who missed last season for a disciplinary issue, to form a nice 1-2 post presence. Lavar Neufville showed glimpses as a reserve that he can be a solid fulltime point guard.
