2010-2011 South Alabama Season Preview

The Jaguars need to move on from a season marked by eligibility and injury casualties to their top two returnees. Bounced in the conference tournament by rival Troy, they clearly had the thinnest bench among the quarterfinalists. Depth won’t be a problem now, as four starters and three key reserves are back. Senior guard Tim Williams headlines a powerhouse perimeter unit. A glaring weakness a season ago, South Alabama’s interior should be drastically improved with 250-pound freshmen Augustine Rubit and Andre Gowins finally in the fold.
