Texas A&M Aggies vs Utah State Aggies Preview & Prediction
Texas A&M has shown the intestinal fortitude to win big games. Sloan scores just short of 18 points a game, stepping up when Roland went down. They do turn the ball over, which if they can’t control will be their downfall. Harris is money in the tough situation and may be the key for the team. While not bursting with talent, they scrap hard and play above their size. That may be enough to go another round.
Utah kills you with the three point shot and protects the ball. The long range shots give Wesley a chance to work inside and he can pass. Jardine leads a solid bench but Bendall needs to show something for his talent. Overall not a super athletic team, but they make the most of their opportunities. If they can keep nailing the three and score from the line they will be tough.
The odds makers have the Aggies as -3 -point favorites.
If the Aggies can control the perimeter, I expect Sloan to led TAMU to a solid six point win.
