2009-2010 UC Irvine Season Preview
After digging themselves a 1-9 hole to start last season, the Anteaters bounced back fairly nicely by winning 11 of the next 21 games, including four of the final five, A non-conference slate that has been downscaled should preclude such a faulty start, as should the presence of Eric Wise in the low post and veterans Michael Hunter and Patrick Rembert in the backcourt. Wise lacks exceptional height but commanded double teams through much of his freshman season, when he scored 20 or more points six times. Someone needs to lend some up-front size.
