Jim Wooldridge continued to show what a solid hire he was while leading the Highlanders to the program’s best-ever NCAA Division I wins total in his second season in Riverside. USC transfer Kyle Austin didn’t waste any time in demonstrating the impact he would have on the program, with 20 points and seven rebounds in a win at Loyola Marymount after sitting out the first seven games while waiting to become eligible.
