Villanova Wildcats vs Robert Morris Colonials Preview & Prediction

Villanova has battled to live up to promise, lacking the strength of former teams, but still have the tools and experience win a close game. The Wildcats are led by a powerful collection of guards who allow for great matchups.  All American Reynolds is clutch, Redding is solid defense, and Fisher rounds it out. They also have strong support, but do need to watch their shooting in the paint.
Robert Morris makes a second trip carried by their defense. Scoring is an issue, and with two freshmen starters it would be a surprise to see them score enough to even win a close game. Led by Abraham who managed just over 13 points a game, and is the only guy who can rack double digit points. He can nail a three, but the defense will need to keep the opposition from doing the same. Look for them to hang in there early, and fade at the end.

The odds makers have Nova as -18 ½ -point favorites.

I expect the ‘Cats to walk away with this one by double digits behind a solid effort from Reynolds.
