2010-2011 Yale Season Preview

It will be surprising if coach James Jones’ always-competitive squad contends this season. Having failed to beat any teams that finished ahead of them in the Ivy standings last season, the Bulldogs lack big-time scorers, especially on the perimeter. The veteran trio of power forward and team captain Michael Sands, shot-blocking center Greg Mangano and point guard Porter Braswell set the example defensively with physical play. The Bulldogs need somebody to surprise offensively, perhaps someone in the freshman class led by forwards Jesse Pritchard and Greg Kelley.
