vs.

North Carolina State at Cincinnati (-7) – 8:00 PM ET on ESPN

This is a battle of underwhelming defenses that gave up a combined 80 points last week. I think RB Isaiah Pead and his 9.5 yards per carry this season will be the difference for Cincinnati in this one. Cincinnati covers but just barely.

Prediction: Cincinnati -7Bet Now

Odds: North Carolina State: +7 – Cincinnati: -7 Over/Under: 61

vs.

North Carolina at #25 Georgia Tech (-6.5)- 12:00 PM ET on ESPN

Two undefeated teams square off with the winner likely becoming Virginia Tech’s only real challenge for the ACC crown. In a very important game, look for Georgia Tech’s and their #1 ranked defense to prevail.

Prediction: Georgia Tech -6.5Bet Now

Odds: North Carolina: +6.5 – Georgia Tech: -6.5 Over/Under: 58

vs.

Temple at Maryland (-9) – 12:30 PM ET

Both Temple and Maryland will be looking to bounce back after losses last week. Maryland started slowly last week but came around in the second half against West Virginia. I can’t see a repeat of a slow start – Maryland will be ready to go from the opening whistle on Saturday.

Prediction: Maryland -9Bet Now

Odds: Temple: +9 – Maryland: -9 Over/Under: 51.5

vs.

Massachusetts at Boston College – 1:00 PM ET on ESPN3

Boston College has done nothing to instill confidence in Week 4 but I have faith that they will get it done on home turf this week. Although it would not be a shock to see Massachusetts pull the upset, I’m going with the home team.

Prediction: Boston College – Bet Now

vs.

Tulane at Duke (-10) – 3:30 PM ET on ESPN3

Duke has two thing going for it ahead of their Saturday match – a big win versus Boston College last week and the play of QB Sean Renfree. Tulane looked decent against UAB last week but this week they are in over their heads.

Prediction: Duke -10Bet Now

Odds: Tulane: +10 – Duke: -10 Over/Under: 55

vs.

Southern Miss at Virginia (-3) – 3:30 PM ET

Southern Miss has a stout defense (16.3 points per game allowed this season) but Virginia is the class of this matchup. Virginia has a very good running game which should dominate while possessing a good run defense which should limit Southern Miss’s 187.7 yards per game on the ground. Virginia will turn a few heads on Saturday!

Prediction: Virginia -3Bet Now

Odds: Southern Miss: +3 – Virginia: -3 Over/Under: 52.5

vs.

Kansas State at Miami (FL) (-12.5)- 3:30 PM ET on ESPNU

Kansas State has been up and down this season and can’t rely on their sub-par offense. Kansas State may hold its own defensively but without scoring they will be soundly beaten by an athletic, talented Miami team that looked good last week in a win over Ohio State in Jacory Harris’s first game back from suspension.

Prediction: Miami -12.5Bet Now

Odds: Kansas State: +12.5 – Miami: -12.5 Over/Under: 48.5

vs.

#13 Virginia Tech (-21) at Marshall – 3:30 PM ET

This game will not be close. It’s true that Virginia Tech has struggled on the road and that the possibility of the team looking ahead to next week’s showdown with Clemson exists. Still, Marshall’s 98th ranked defense and Freshman Quarterback will have a nightmare of a time against the best the ACC has to offer.

Prediction: Virginia Tech -21Bet Now

Odds: Marshall: +21 – Virginia Tech: -21 Over/Under: 46.5

vs.

#11 Florida State at #21 Clemson (-2.5) – 3:30 PM ET on ESPN

In the best ACC tilt of the weekend, Florida State will look to rebound after a hard fought loss to Oklahoma last week. Clemson looked good in a win over Auburn last week and QB Tajh Boyd looks like the real deal. But Florida State’s defense and talent latent roster will be too much on Saturday.

Prediction: Florida State +2.5Bet Now

Odds: Florida State: +2.5 – Clemson: -2.5
