They saved the best for last. The good times this week start Thanksgiving Day with No. 17 Texas A&M traveling to Austin to face a group of desperate Longhorns on ESPN. Friday gives us a surprisingly good tilt (tip of the hat, CU) between Colorado and No. 15 Nebraska on ABC. Saturday, your best bet is a Bedlam matchup between No. 16 Oklahoma and No. 9 Oklahoma State with the BaCS South title on the line for the Cowboys on ABC.

vs.

#17 Texas A&M @ Texas – 8:00 PM ET on ESPN

This is the last chance for the Longhorns to … make it a bowl game. Amazing that the two schools, a month into the season, were almost in completely opposite roles. A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been an absolute difference maker since being moved into the starting lineup and has shown he has the potential to be one of the best quarterbacks in the Big 12, if not the nation.

Prediction: Texas A&M by 7 – Bet Now

Odds: Texas A&M: -3.5 – Texas: +3.5 Over/Under: 48

vs.

Colorado @ #15 Nebraska – 3:30 PM ET on ABC

A game with intrigue that has come out of nowhere. From the Buffs’ resurgence after the firing of Dan Hawkins to the Huskers’ embarrassing (for a lot of different reasons) loss at Texas A&M last week, this matchup has been flipped on its head. Nebraska should have enough talent, and fear of Bo Pelini, to come out on top. But not by much.

Prediction: Nebraska by 3 – Bet Now

Odds: Colorado: +16.5 – Nebraska: -16.5 Over/Under: 50

vs.

Kansas vs #14 Missouri – 12:30 PM ET

The annual matchup at Arrowhead Stadium was, just three years ago, a No. 2 vs. No. 3 showdown. Now it’s an afterthought. Missouri has weathered a brutal schedule and still has its BCS dream to play for (they need help, obviously while the Jayhawks will be happy to make a game of this.

Prediction: Missouri by 21 – Bet Now

Odds: Kansas: +24.5 – Missouri: -24.5 Over/Under: NA

vs.

Kansas State @ North Texas – 4:00 PM ET

Yes, this is a strange machup. But getting down to basics, the Wildcats have an awful lot to play for. A win here gives them seven victories for the season and a likely spot in the Pinstripe Bowl at New York City. Lose and they might get left out of a bowl altogether, despite their six wins.

Prediction: Kansas State by 14 – Bet Now

Odds: Kansas State: -14.5 – North Texas: +14.5 Over/Under: 58

vs.

Houston @ Texas Tech – 8:00 PM ET

When Heisman Trophy candidate Case Keenum went down in Week 2, so did the Cougars’ season. The Red Raiders always seem to win enough games to get to a decent bowl game each year, which as another school in Texas can tell you, isn’t always such a given. Teams playing to get in BETTER bowl games are always dangerous because the kids realize the booty they get – aka massive bowl game swag – increases with the higher profile games.

Prediction: Texas Tech by 10 – Bet Now

Odds: Houston: +9 – Texas Tech: -9 Over/Under: 69

vs.

#13 Oklahoma @ #9 Oklahoma State – 8:00 PM ET on ABC

Rarely has Bedlam had such high stakes. And that’s saying quite a bit. The key for the Cowboys this season has been the play of quarterback and former minor league baseball player Brandon Weeden. For the Sooners, their losses have come from a porous offensive line, the inconsistent play of Landry Jones and a defensive backfield subject to repeated abuse. Thrown in a worn-out defense, and the fact the game is in Stillwater … and you have your first Big 12 South champ not named Oklahoma or Texas since 1998.

Prediction: Oklahoma State by 3 – Bet Now

Odds: Oklahoma: +2.5 – Oklahoma State: -2.5 Over/Under: 67
