#24 Oregon State @ #3 Boise State – 8:00 PM on ABC

The Beavers (1-1) continue their trek through a difficult three game non-conference schedule that ends in Boise on Saturday night. The Broncos (3-0) own a 44-game home winning streak, which includes a pair of wins over Oregon State at Bronco Stadium in 2004 (53-24) and 2006 (42-14), in each case after taking an early 14-0 lead. So to just say the team will be busy Beavers is a huge understatement. OS will need to bring its defense and hopefully not the one that faded against TCU in Week 1. Boise State has the potential to put up big offensive numbers including 648 yards against Wyoming last week. However, the Beavers have James Rodgers who leads the nation with 226.5 all-purpose yards per game not to mention brother Jaquizz who can inflict their own type of damage on the BSU defense. Remember — Oregon went to the Rose Bowl last season and the Broncos made them look like a Pop Warner team. The Ducks had more talent on that squad than this year’s Beavers team.
