vs.

#22 Penn State @ #17 Iowa – 8:05 PM ET on ABC

This should be a good one if you like traditional football. Some are calling out Iowa and picking PSU to upset but given their body of work I just don’t see it. QB Robert Bolden is still just a freshman and they haven’t got their running game going – good luck turning that around against the #3 rush defense in the nation (BTW – the Hawkeyes are #1 in overall defense too so passing isn’t much easier). Looking at the history of these two clubs there is even more reason to side with Iowa. They have won 7 of 8 meetings since 2000 and have covered 6 of the last 7 in the series. Nobody thought Iowa would run the table this year but they are not likely to have another loss until they face OSU in the second last week of the season. That game, not this one, should decide the conference championship.
