The number of top 25 teams in the SEC has been reduced to five after Florida fell out of the rankings when it lost its second straight conference game by a large margin. When it comes to conference records, No. 15 South Carolina and Georgia lead the East Division at 3-1, while the West Division features the top two teams in the nation, No.1 LSU and No.2 Alabama at 3-0. The other two ranked teams in the SEC- West are No.10 Arkansas at 1-1 and No.24 Auburn at 2-1.

The following is a brief look at all the games in the SEC in Week 7 of the college football season along with a prediction for each. All odds quoted are provided courtesy of BetOnline.com

vs.

#15 South Carolina (-3.5) @ Mississippi State – 12:00 PM ET on ESPN3.com

Conner Shaw will be the starting quarterback for the Gamecocks for the rest of the season after Stephen Garcia was dismissed from the team for good after five previous suspensions. Look for the old ball coach Steve Spurrier to rely on a heavy dose of Marcus Lattimore and his 23rd ranked rushing offense in the nation against the Bulldogs.

South Carolina is a perfect 5-0 both straight-up and against the spread in the last five games of this series.

Prediction: South Carolina 28, Mississippi State 20 – Bet Now

Odds: South Carolina: -3 – Mississippi State: +3 Over/Under: 47

vs.

#1 LSU (-16) at Tennessee – 3:30 PM ET

While this will by no means be a trap game for LSU, it could suffer a bit of a letdown after a huge win over Florida last week and Auburn and Alabama lurking in the shadows. The Tigers are 5-2 SU in the last seven meetings, but just 3-2-2 ATS. The largest margin of victory in any of these seven games was 11 points.

The Volunteers hang around longer than any of LSU’s previous opponents to keep this a two touchdown game.

Prediction: LSU 35, Tennessee 21 – Bet Now

Odds: LSU: -16 – Tennessee: +16 Over/Under: 43.5

vs.

#2 Alabama (-25) @ Ole Miss – 6:00 PM ET on ESPN2

The Crimson Tide get a breather this week against one of the most disappointing programs in the SEC in the last few seasons. The Rebels come in at 2-3 SU overall and 0-2 SU in the conference after lopsided losses to Vanderbilt and Georgia.

Ole Miss is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings including covering a 20-point spread as a road underdog last season, so out of sheer pride it should be able to keep things close enough to cover with the 25-points at home.

Prediction: Alabama 35, Ole Miss 13 – Bet Now

Odds: Alabama: -25 – Ole Miss: +25 Over/Under: 44.5

vs.

Georgia (-12) @ Vanderbilt – 7:00 PM ET on ESPN3

The Bulldogs are back on track with four straight victories after starting the year 0-2, while the Commodores have lost their last two conference games to South Carolina and Alabama by a combined score of 55-3. This is one of the best Vanderbilt teams in recent memory, but the reality of playing in the SEC is about to hit home.

Georgia is 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS in the last 10 meetings and has outscored Vandy 77-10 the last two years.

Prediction: Georgia 31, Vanderbilt 14 – Bet Now

Odds: Georgia: -12 – Vanderbilt: +12 Over/Under: 41

vs.

Florida (-2) @ #24 Auburn – 7:00 PM ET on ESPN

The Gators come into this game licking their wounds after getting trounced by Alabama and LSU in back-to-back weeks while coming nowhere close to covering the spread in either game. The Tigers got a dose of reality as well in a 38-14 loss to Arkansas as 10-point road favorites last week.

Stick with Auburn in a close one as the home team is 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in the last six meetings.

Prediction: Auburn 24, Florida 23 – Bet Now

Odds: Auburn: +2 – Florida: -2 Over/Under: 49.5
