The tale of two quarterbacks was all set to begin as Stanford’s Andrew Luck and the Huskies’ Jake Locker squared off in this weekend’s Heisman qualifier. However, the big showdown has been somewhat spoiled with Locker’s recent injury setbacks.

Bruised and beaten, Locker said that there is no doubt he will still start Saturday’s game against Stanford. Meanwhile, Luck is on track to surpass the school record for single season TD passes at 27, currently with 19 with five games remaining.

The Cardinal defense will no doubt feast upon Locker, as they try to shake him up by getting after him early on.

While this will definitely be a quarterback duel, I just can’t see an injured Locker completing this one.
