Week 13 in the NFL offers two of the biggest games of the year in the AFC as the four best teams in the conference find themselves in a must-win situation in order to keep their dream of not only winning the division title, but locking up home-field advantage in the playoffs headed in the right direction. A few other teams in the conference also desperately need a win to stay in hunt for a spot in the postseason.

Oakland @ San Diego (-13)                              Over/Under: 45 ½

The Raiders (5-6) have lost their last two games by a combined score of 68-20 after winning their previous three by outscoring their opponents 124-37. Jason Campbell will once again be the starter at quarterback with Bruce Gradkowski still nursing a shoulder injury.

The Chargers (6-5) are once again in the middle of another late season surge with a four game winning streak. They have outscored their opponents 133-76 in these four games after losing their previous three by a combined 14 points. WR Vincent Jackson is expected to miss this game with a strained calf.

Oakland is 4-11 ATS in its last 15 games against the Chargers and 2-5 ATS in its last seven games in San Diego. The favorite is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings and the total has gone ‘over’ in four of the last six. While 13 points is a huge spread in a divisional game, the clock appears to have struck midnight for the Raiders.

Pittsburgh @ Baltimore (-3)                             Over/Under: 40

The Steelers (8-3) are fortunate to even be tied for the lead in the division after surviving several close calls this season. The most recent was a dropped pass in the end zone by WR Stevie Johnson that would have given Buffalo the win in OT. Both Ben Roethlisberger and Troy Polamalu are battling foot injuries but expected to play.

The Ravens (8-3) are starting to hit their stride with an offense that is ranked 14th overall in the league and a defense that is ranked eighth overall and fifth in points allowed; giving up an average of just 17.1 per game. LT Michael Oher strained his left knee but is expected to be ready to go by Sunday night.

Pittsburgh is 3-1-1 ATS in its last five games against the Ravens. The road team is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the underdog is 5-1-1 in the last seven. The total has gone ‘over’ in six of the last nine games in this series. The Steelers backs are to the wall in this one, having already lost to the Ravens 17-14 in Week 4 so once again they find a way to win.

New York (Jets) @ New England (-3)              Over/Under: 46 ½

The Jets (9-2) come into this game with the 11th ranked offense in the league led by a ground game that is averaging 148.1 yards per game behind a resurgent LaDainian Tomlinson and Shonn Greene in the backfield. The two have combined for 1,316 yards rushing so far this season.

The Patriots (9-2) have a much better balance on offense this year, averaging 236.7 yards passing per game which is ranked 12th in the league and 112.5 yards per game on the ground, which is ranked 16th. The one thing New England knows how to do best is put points on the board as it currently leads the league in scoring; averaging 30.4 points per game.

New York is 9-4-1 ATS in its last 15 games in New England and 4-0 ATS in its last four games against the AFC East. New England is 1-3-2 in its last six games following an ATS win and the total has gone ‘over’ in its last five games overall. A game like this can only end in one way; Tom Brady pulls out the miracle one-point win late in the game, but the Jets cover with the three point spread.
