2010 Washington Redskins Schedule Preview
The Washington Redskins open a new chapter in 2010, hoping to improve upon their 4-12 mark from a year ago. The new coach-new QB experiment will be tested early with a game against the Cowboys, but the team should have plenty of time to work out the kinks before a tough stretch following the bye week. Quarterback Donovan McNabb spent the first 11 seasons of his career as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Now McNabb and the ‘Skins welcome his former team to FedEx Field. It will be McNabb’s second appearance against his old team (first is in Week 4), but this one’s under the bright lights of Monday Night Football. The Redskins should be relatively well rested, as they travel about 5,000 fewer miles than any team in their division in 2010. Plus, the bulk of their tough matchups – against the Packers, Vikings and Colts, for example — will take place on home soil.
