While Holland has been able to put up a 5-1 record in his last nine starts, his 6.09 ERA in that stretch exemplifies the problems the Rangers’ rotation has been having.
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
Los Angeles ace Dan Haren takes the mound for this game. He is 5-1 in his last 10 starts and he is 13-6 on the year. The last time he faced Texas was on July 20th when he gave up seven runs on nine hits in a four and one-third inning no-decision. Given the troubles of the Rangers the past couple of weeks, this could be a very high scoring game.
